Different glare indexes can be calculated for a given rendered picture, including for the moment:

• The CIE glare index (CGI).
• The Guth Visual ComfortProbability (VCP).

Using the latter, a direct evaluation of user satisfaction can be obtained. A scanning can be made to identify optimal viewing direction for a given position of the observer.
